Parent Organization

Dear 父母 and Guardians,

The Parent Organization of Saint Ignatius welcomes you to the 2022-23 学年! We look forward to seeing all safely back on campus this fall! We know that parents and students are eager to return to school life and begin reconnecting with new & 老朋友. Rest assured that our School Administration and 工作人员 have been working behind the scenes to plan a safe and smooth transition back to school.

Though what was once familiar may not be the same, we hope that through shared information and open communication, 菠菜担保网的父母 & school partnership will be collaborative, working toward the common goal of strengthening our students academically and social-emotionally during these challenging times. As we head into the fall, the Parent Organization remains hopeful, but committed to adapting the school social events, masses and gatherings. We appreciate your patience during this time as the trajectory of the pandemic ebbs and flows. Along with the Ignatius Administration, we will adjust thoughtfully as the year goes on and as more up-to-date information is obtained. 请 feel free to touch base with any of the Parent Organization Board Members anytime and please remain invested in our bi-weekly communication in the Wolfpack Post, as it will serve as a lifeline for staying abreast of school and social developments.

会员 & 参与

As Ignatius parents, you are automatically members of The Saint Ignatius Parent Organization. The Parent Organization offers the opportunity for you to meet other parents at one of the many school events we host throughout the year. There are several ways to become involved in the Organization. Some of our past activities include:

Planning and assisting with events such as the annual Mini-Class Night, 开放日, 类质量, 毕业舞会后
Helping with and attending two fun-filled social events: Backyard BBQ and Trivia Night
Attending Parent Organization meetings in the fall and spring on current parent/student topics

To the extent that you are able during this unique 学年, we encourage you to get involved and enjoy fellowship with other school parents. 请 志愿者! Our children are here for such a short period of time, we would love to see you make the most of it! Here is our adapted 日历 of events for the 2022-23 学年! We look forward to connecting and meeting new faces!

Virtual Trivia Night

On Saturday, January 30^th, the Saint Ignatius Parent Organization held their 6th Annual Virtual Trivia Night. There were over 275 participants, including our resident Jesuits! There was a welcome message from the Parent Organization President, 克里斯,因为, Saint Ignatius President, John Chandler and an opening prayer from Rev. Patrick Fairbanks, S.J. Each team did very well and had fun connecting and laughing, and of course playing trivia. 祝贺 克里斯·墨菲团队 on answering the most questions correctly!

Parent Talk Fall Event

10月22日^nd, the Parent Organization hosted an informative and timely discussion with Dr. 丹尼尔·摩顿森, a licensed clinical psychologist and lead therapist at Chicago Behavioral Treatment Center. Anne and Joe Linnen, Parent Org 总统, served as hosts for the evening and Fr. Paul Kalenzi, SJ began the program with a prayer.
